Chamberlain Community Presentation on the Opioid Crisis

Angela Kennecke will talk about her own experiences of losing her daughter to an accidental opioid overdose and her choice to make the story public. She will share the heartbreak and what she's learned and her crusade to stop more overdoses of young people. This is an educational presentation on the opioid epidemic told through a mother's eyes. It is free and open to the public.

Please join us for a candlelight vigil to remember those who have died from overdose, as well as those who have overdosed and lived and struggle with addiction.

Sioux Falls Mayor Paul TenHaken will speak, as well as the mother of an overdose victim. First responders and health officials will attend. All are welcome!

Emily’s paintings, drawings and pottery will be on display at the Washington Pavilion in the Everist Gallery through June 2nd. Her sister Abby Groth is a contributing artist to the exhibit, which includes educational materials on the opioid epidemic.

Hot 104.7 Ski & Snowboard Race

Celebrate winter sports with some friendly competition in the Hot 104.7 Ski & Snowboard Race benefiting Emily's Hope!

Competitors of all ages and skill levels are invited to race!

Racers may register at Guest Services the day of the event. There is a $10 entry fee with the chance to win a trophy and door prizes. Registration closes at 12:30 p.m. The race start at 1 p.m. with an award ceremony to follow. Racers under the age of 18 will need a parent's or guardian's signature. 

All proceeds go to Emily’s Hope.
